How can I get the app?

How does NoScope handle my personal information?

NoScope DOES NOT access or store personal information. For a more detail explanation of the data NoScope stores and what it does with it, please see NoScope's Privacy Policy.

How do I get the reticle off my screen?

If you want to simply toggle it off, press the "Display" button on your TV remote. Pressing it again will turn it back on.

To permanently remove the reticle, simply exit the app using the "Exit" or "Back" button on your remote. If all else fails, simply turn of the TV, the app will not automatically re-start when you turn your TV back on.

My reticle needs to be moved, how do I move it?

Use the direction pad on your TV's remote.

How do I change the size of the reticle?

Use the direction pad's center button on your TV's remote to cycle through the possible sizes.

How do I change the color of the reticle?

Press the "Blue" button on your TV's remote to cycle through the possible colors, more colors may be added in future software updates.

How do I change the style of the reticle?

Press the "Yellow" button on your TV's remote to cycle through possible styles, more styles may be added in future software updates.

I've moved my reticle around, how can I automatically re-center it?

Press the "Red" button on your TV's remote to automatically re-center it.

What if I have problems with the app?

Please report any problems to support@noscopeapp.com. Please include your make and model of your TV so we can best attempt to troubleshoot the problem. Note: Turning off your TV will always stop the app from running and it will not automatically restart.

What if my Smart TV is not currently supported?

We hope to bring NoScope to all Smart TV platforms. Please feel free to let us know your exact make and model of your TV by sending an e-mail to support@noscopeapp.com. We will attempt to prioritize development efforts based upon demand.

I have multiple Smart TVs can I used NoScope on all of them?

Due to how Smart TVs work, this is out of our control, but if the Smart TVs are all the same platform (e.g., all Android TV or all Samsung) and they use the same account for accessing their app store, you should be able to load the app on all TVs without any additional fees.

What if I am not satisfied?

Please let us know if you are not satisfied with NoScope and we will attempt to resolve the matter. If we are unable to do so, we may issue a refund.

Should I worry about screen "burn-in"?

Most modern TVs are rather resistant to "burn-in" however some suffer from temporary "image retention". The amount of impact you see depends upon your TV and usage habits. If you are concerned about burn-in we recommend periodically changing your style and color of the reticle and turn off the reticle when it isn't required.
